The Happy Watchman is written and maintained by Rod Thomson, a 30-year newspaper veteran who has been published in the New York Times, National Review Online, Focus on the Family and many other national and regional publications.
He and his wife of 32 years, Kim, have eight children and three grandchildren.
Rod chose the truth of Christ as a student at Michigan State University in 1978. As a working journalist in the mainstream media, he was forced to hone what he believed and is currently writing a layman’s apologetics of sorts for the Christian looking to defend the faith in their everyday life in the world.
